Granpuff E1: Favorite Episode

Awesome episode to start off Season 4 and a nice transition standard guage to a new narrow gauge railway that is also on the Island of Sodor. I love this episode as the show brought on another railway that is smaller than the North Western Railroad and shows viewers that there are smaller engines than the NWR engines. Even like how the epsiode starts with the howling winds keep the engines awake and Toby looks to a story being told and Thomas tells the

Sleeping Beauty E2: Favorite Episode

Another Episode to keep the awesome start of season 4. This episode keeps the story of Duke going with the engines asking Thomas to continue with the story. After a quick recap, this story focusing on a group of rescuers with help from the Skarloey return to the Mid Sodor Railway

Bulldog E3: Favorite Episode

Another awesome episode of season 4. Love how they continue on having the focus remain on the narrow gauge railroads of the Mid Sodor & Skarloey Railway. I like this episode focusing around Falcon and Duke.

You Can't Win E4: Favorite Episode

Keeping up the awesome streak with another awesome episode of season 4. Love how they continue on having the focus remain on the narrow gauge railroads of the Mid Sodor & Skarloey Railway. What I found interesting is how Stuart teased Duke about him being ill but then got back at Stuart for teasing him by saying "you can't win" after pulling up alongside Stuart at the Top Station.

Four Little Engines E5: Favorite Episode

Love how they still continue having the focus remain on the narrow gauge railroads of the Mid Sodor & Skarloey Railway. I like this episode focusing around Skarloey being the only other engine available to pull Sir Handel's Train after Sir Handel getting bumped off the rails.  Even like how they have the story start off with Skaroley resting in the Shed and Edward showing up to talk with Skaroley while waiting for his turn at the Works.

A Bad Day for Sir Handel E6: Favorite Episode

Love how they still continue having the focus remain on the narrow gauge railway called Skarloey Railway. I like how this episode focuses mostly around Sir Handel taking his passenger train for the first time after being sold and insulting them. After insulting them, they in turn insult Sir Handel making him upset along with complaining about the sheds after arriving at the new railway.

Peter Sam and the Refreshment Lady E7: Favorite Episode

Love how they still continue having the focus remain on the narrow gauge railroads of the Mid Sodor & Skarloey Railway. I like this episode focusing around Peter Sam and the Refreshment Lady. I also find this episode a bit funny because even though Henry threatens to leave Peter Sam's Passengers, Henry can't because he is a grantee connection.

Rusty helps Peter Sam E8: Favorite Episode

Love how they still continue having the focus remain on the narrow gauge railroads of the Mid Sodor & Skarloey Railway. I like this episode focusing around Rusty and Peter Sam. It's interesting to see the introduction of Rusty in the episode having an interaction with Harold as he comes around the mountain. In my opinion, the trucks shouldn't have pulled the trick on Peter Sam and could have waited for their next opportunity with Sir Handel.  Nice to see more of their work jobs than passenger service.

Home at Last E9: Favorite Episode

Love how they still continue having the focus remain on the narrow gauge railroads of the Mid Sodor & Skarloey Railway. I like this episode focusing around the entire cast of the narrow gauge up to this point with the introduction of Duncan by Peter Sam to the railway and Rusty to Skarloey  after returning back from being mended at the works. Like how then the episode turns its attention to Duncan getting stuck and needing to be rescued.

Rock 'n' Roll E10: Great Episode

Love how they still continue having the focus remain on the narrow gauge railroads of the Mid Sodor & Skarloey Railway. I like this episode is almost like a Part two to the episode 9 "Home at Last" where it focuses on Duncan being reckless still and complains about the jobs he is given to do by the railway controller.

Special Funnel E11: Great Episode

Love how they still continue having the focus remain on the narrow gauge railroads of the Mid Sodor & Skarloey Railway. I like this episode focusing around Peter Sam and his funnel. This is another good adaptation of a Railway Series Story. Peter Sam's funnel got knocked off by an icicle in a tunnel and was temporarily replaced with a drainpipe before the new funnel arrived for him. His new funnel is a nice one because instead of a cylinder shape style, it's more of a rectangular shape which is pretty cool in my view.

Steam Roller E12: Great Episode

Love how they still continue having the focus remain on the narrow gauge railroads of the Mid Sodor & Skarloey Railway. This episode is another interesting because this brings George the steamroller to the narrow gauge railway to do some road repair. George gets angry with George causing a major problem resulting in an accident and both being in trouble with the law.

Passengers and Polish E13: Great Episode

Love how they still continue having the focus remain on the narrow gauge railroads of the Mid Sodor & Skarloey Railway. I like this episode focusing around Duncan who complains about not being polish by Alice. This causes Duncan in my opinion hot headed and takes it out on his passengers, refusing to not move on the bridge.

Gallant Old Engine E14: Favorite Episode

Love how they still continue having the focus remain on the narrow gauge railroads of the Mid Sodor & Skarloey Railway. I like this episode focusing around Duncan,Peter Sam, Skarloey and Rheneas. Love how Peter Sam is getting annoyed with Duncan's complaints he asked Skarloey to tell the story about Rheneas by himself being the only to save the Skarloey Railway. A humbled Duncan, who now finally realized that passengers were more important than his selfish needs, admits he was wrong and thanks Skarloey for telling him about Rheneas. The next day, Edward brings Rheneas home and a big celebration is held from the Skarloey Engines and some of the standard gauge engines.

Rusty to the Rescue E15: Great Episode

Love how they still continue having the focus remain on the narrow gauge railroad and the standard gauge with saving Stepney. The entire episode was  a combination of great & awesome of season 4. The only reason this is great is that why would they somehow extend the narrow gauge from the west side of Sodor all the way to the mainland.

Thomas and Stepney E16: Favorite Episode

Love how they shifted the focus from narrow gauge to standard gauge with the nice transition in episode 15. The entire episode was another one of being an awesome episode of season 4. Nice to see that they brought another real life engine to the railway after Season 3 episode 4 "Gordon and the Famous Visitor" where the City of Truro arrived for a visit to the railway.

Train Stops Play E17: Great Episode

Love how they shifted the focus from narrow gauge to standard gauge with the nice transition in episode 15. The entire episode was  mostly focused on Stepney on Thomas's Branch line with the cricket players chasing Stepney in their car. Stepney brought Caroline back to the Cricket Field and let her watch from the tracks with him. The only other thing that made it reach "great" classification was the fact the cricket players had a chase with Caroline.

Bowled Out E18: Good Episode

In my opinion this episode is one of my "good" classification episodes of season 4 for a few reasons.  The first reason is that due to an engine shortage, a class 40 diesel was available and came to the railway. After coming to the railway, the class 40 diesel insulted the engines which to me made me upset. A positive reason that makes this god, is Stepney volunteers to help Duck pull a train all the way to Croven Gate to meet up with Gordon who will take the train the rest of the way down the mainline. A funny moment to point out that I noticed was how the steam engines were saying goodbye to Stent, the diesel crept away without noticed leaving a bowled hat that was damaged and a stinking smell of diesel fuel.

Henry and the Elephant E19: Good Episode

In my opinion this episode is my second  "good" classification episode of season 4 for a few reasons. The first point is that when the circus came to town, they didn't notice the missing elephant from the circus and Henry had to come to the rescue. The other reason is why would James, Gordon and Henry be again mad that they have to shunt their trains when technically they had to do it before when Thomas was the shunting pilot for Knapford Station.

Toad Stands By E20: Good Episode

My thought on this episode is a mix of good and bad. What makes this a good episode is that Toad the Brake Van advise Oliver how to handle the trucks to regain their respect. Beside that, we really don't see how Toad helping any further within the episode besides asking Douglas to talk to Oliver. I would have possibly named this Episode "Oliver's Troubles" because mostly we see the trucks and Oliver with only Toad being seen a few times throughout the episode.

Bulls Eye E21: Great Episode

My thought on this episode is a mix of good and bad. What makes this good is there one scene where Daisy actually faces the Champion the Bull in the eyes. Other than that, the rest of the story in my opinion is about Daisy complaining about Toby and Shooing animals off the tracks with her horn. The one suggestion I would do is changed the title from "Bulls Eye" to "Daisy & Toby" because  this episode mainly focuses on Daisy & Toby with Daisy complaining about Toby and Toby coming to the aid of Daisy being scared.

Thomas and and the Special Letter E22: Great Episode

This episode, is technically both my Favorite and being great but I kept it at "Great" classification for one reason, Thomas being to much excited and crash through a set of buffers making him almost the trip to the "Big City Station". Other than that the episode was really awesome.

Thomas Meets the Queen E23: Favorite Episode

I really love this episode of Season 4. The reason is that it brings back the ending from "Down the Mine" S1 E25 where Thomas and Gordon are puffing home and brings it to the point where they see decorations at the sheds. Then we get to see Gordon bring the queen to Knapford Station to se Sir Topham Hatt and Thomas. Also found it funny to see how she thanks Thomas, Edward and Gordon for everything during her vist when she leaves at the end of the episode.

Fish E24: Great Episode

I found this episode to be one of the great episodes from season 4. What I really like about this episode of Fish (Season 4) is how they have Thomas give advice to Duck by telling him about his own experience with fish back in S1 Ep 12 (Fish).

Special Attraction E25: Great Episode

I found this episode to be a bit confusing for the episode plotline even though to me it was great to watch. The reason is that it was confusing how they took scenes from Toby's Seaside Holiday & Bulstrode stories from the same book and put them together to form some sort of plot. This would have worked out better for two different story related episodes instead of one big episode.

Mind that Bike E26: Great Episode

I found this episode to be a really great episode of season 4. Reason is that we see a sodor postman being upset that he has to use a bike that replace his van. Then Percy comes along to help him out. Along the fact that this one one of the last adapted railway series story for awhile.

I love these 12 episodes because they were amazing and awesome to watch during season 5 of Thomas and friends.  All 12 episodes in my opinion were amazing and seemed to add to the overall theme of season 5's plot and added a lot of character  devolvement within these 12 episodes.

Good Episodes List Explanation:

Out of the 26 episodes, these three episodes were better than "Ok" but are really good to included with season 5. Episodes 24 & 25 were really good and nice to see the 3rd and 2nd to the end of season 5 to be focus on the narrow gauge railways. These three episodes are good enough to make it onto my overall list of season 5.

Ok Episodes

Favorite Episodes List Explanation:

Out of the entire season 6 (26 episodes) these 14 episodes listed above are my favorites from season 6 with season 6 episode 7 "Jack Jumps In" and episode 8 "A Friend in Need"  being wonderful episodes as to me these two were like a two part episode with episode 7 leading to the climax of Jack being really useful and episode 8 finishing with part 2 where Jack proves he is really useful after saving Thomas from a bridge collapse. So I would say both Episodes 7 & 8 are both my absolute favorite episodes from season 6. I love these 14 episodes because they were amazing and awesome to watch during season 6 of Thomas and friends.  The first two really started off the season with introducing two new characters that come to help out on Sodor and end with two stories on the Skarloey Railway after their introduction in season 5.

Great Episodes List Explanation:

Out of the 26 episode line up, these 10 were consider to be great episodes of season 5. All these episodes were great with couple of scenes that were just great but not enough to meet my favorites conditions to make the favorite list. But out of these 10, I would say episode 12  "Scaredy Engines" gave us that almost Halloween themed environment and episode 16 "Jack Frost" gave us that winter theme which I did really love from season 6 as they did their best to provide a Halloween & winter themes episodes sprinkle across season 6.

Good Episodes List Explanation:

Out of the 26 episodes, these two episodes were better than "Ok" but are really good to included with season 6. Episodes 15 (James and the Hot Air Balloon) & 19 (Buffer twins) were really good and nice to see in season 6. In my opinion of these two episodes, I found them to be really good because it was funny to see how James was complaining in episode 15 about the hot air balloon taking away his passenger and the balloon crashed right near him covering him and in episode 19 it was silly for Bill to purposely damaged his buffer beams after seeing his twin have brand new buffers.

Out of the entire season 7 (26 episodes) these 14 episodes listed above are my favorites from season 6 with season 7 episode 5 "Edward Brass Band" and episode 10 "Toby and the Windmill"  being wonderful episodes. The rest of them were also wonderful to watch by Episode 5 & 10 were the best two in my opinion of season 7.

                          Great Episodes List Explanation:

Out of the 26 episode line up, these 8 were consider to be great episodes of season 7. All these episodes were great with couple of scenes that were just great but not enough to meet my favorites conditions to make the favorite list. But out of these 8, I would say episode 9  "The Spotless Record" gave us an interesting episodes  and episode 10 "Rheneas and the Roller Coaster" who really gave us the fun and childhood style of theme with the Skarloey Railway engines.

                          Good Episodes List Explanation:

Out of the 26 episodes, these four episodes were better than "Ok" but are really good to included with season 7. With these four episodes, it was a mixed of stormy tales to finding some peace and quiet. But overall these four were better than "Ok" but weren't great enough in my opinion to make the "great list" in my book.
